The Last Resort - "lyric"

These probably are of little interest to basically everyone, but here is another.

If any should read, feel free to deliver an interpretation and if interested, I can give a slight hint as to how it was intended when written ... or not.

The Last Resort

Scatched walls and crooked halls
Broken mirrors, a crumbling terrace
Cracked tiles, weathers miles
Around and around, there's no sign of the wealth once housed
Only the scar they left instead, their elegance long dead

Stacked hopes on slippery slopes
Burnt rooms or so it's assumed
Uprooted floors, unhinged doors
Around and around, there's no sign of the wealth once found
Only the masks they left to sort, here at the last resort

It was a warm day when the fire came
Fed all to ash without refrain
Now a cold wind and the ghosts remain
Wicked or divine the scent's the same

Around and around, it'll all burn down
Around and around, it's all burned down
Around and around, it'll come around
Around and around, to come around ... again
